Fishing authorization
To fish on Quebec's waterways, you need a valid Quebec fishing license (with a few exceptions). You must also carry your Baskatong Reservoir fishing authorization with you when you fish, as well as photo identification to confirm your identity. It must have been issued by the government, one of its ministries or a public body.
You must be able to show your Quebec fishing licence, your authorization to fish Baskatong and your identification immediately to any wildlife protection officer or assistant who asks to see it.
Please note that the season permit is valid from the 3rd Friday in May to March 31st of the following year.

On June 7, 8 and 9, 2024, celebrate fishing with us
During the Fête de la pêche, young and old are invited to discover and share the pleasures of fishing.
During these 3 days, it will be exceptionally authorized to fish without a provincial fishing permit and without authorization to fish Baskatong.
